Launched in 2013 by the Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI), the Navigator connects industry, external research partners and other organizations with over 550 Canadian research facilities. These include facilities and labs dedicated to:

  • Robotics
  • Neurogenetics
  • Agricultural
  • Energy
  • Mining, materials and metals
  • Information and communications technology;
  • And many more.

The Research Facilities Navigator is an initiative of the CFI. We invest in state-of-the-art facilities and equipment in Canada’s universities, colleges, research hospitals and non-profit research institutions, helping to attract and retain the world’s top talent, train the next generation of researchers, support private sector innovation and create high-quality jobs that strengthen the economy and improve the quality of life for all Canadians. Released by BHER, these guides outline the practical steps businesses can take to create mutually beneficial agreements with post-secondary institutions.
